Satellite TV providers are a great rage among people in the US. For so many years, people have been associated with these providers for their entertainment needs. Since we all require time off, we tend to watch television a lot at home. For this, we look for a provider who offers the best of entertainment at home within reasonable packages that are affordable by all. Perhaps, this is the reason that most Americans are facing hard times now with satellite TV providers. They are paying huge fine in lieu of getting sheer entertainment.

One such famous satellite TV provider in America is DirecTV that offered a host of packages to subscribers with great deals and offers. However, of late, people realized that deals that are offered by satellite TV providers are deceptive. They came to know that the advertisement campaigns and sales pitch used by them are misleading. They talk of something else and offer somewhat different. The schemes and promotions are dubious that lure consumers into signing up with the provider, only to realize later that these were mere promotions whereas the provider is not offering the same actually.

Similar is the case with DirecTV. With numerous researches and lawsuits on hand, it has been finally stated that this satellite TV giant was also bent upon using unfair means to deceit people at large. It has followed several unethical business practices and roped in thousands of people into the scam. Billing issues, early termination fee, faulty equipment, misleading offers, unauthorized credits and unauthorized extension of contract, are some of the complaints that were reported by subscribers to the Attorney General of California. Even the Better Business Bureau has clarified that it received over 39,000 complaints over the past three years solely against DirecTV, which is really shocking. How can one expect that a big brand like DirecTV can follow malpractices? But, yes, this is true. Many satellite providers are mired by controversies, who continue to resort to unethical practices to its advantages.

Although hard to digest, but truly subscribers are the final sufferers. You remain ignorant that whatever you are paying for, is it justified or not. You trust the companies an believe that they will certainly offer you something that is for your good, but unfortunately, business practitioners can think of nothing else but their profits. So, you should be careful while selecting a provider. Essentially, you should read the terms and conditions carefully before signing the contract.
